MY VISION…… Way Back in 2014

While teaching at Northside School in Levittown, something weighed heavily on my heart.
I saw too many kids sitting quietly in classrooms—heads down, spirits low. Many were drowning in negative voices on social media, often believing the worst things said about them.

But I also saw something else: possibility.
I imagined those same kids standing tall on stage—acting, dancing, singing… shining.
That was the moment NEAT was born.

This animated video captures the vision I had before I even opened our doors. It tells the story of why I built NEAT from the ground up, and why—more than a decade later—it’s still a place where every child can feel safe, seen, and celebrated.
